Sentiment is without a
price.
Proper doll restoration is an exacting and time consuming art and thus, it
forces us to place a value on sentiment. If we are fortunate, dolly requires
only cleaning and restringing, but often they require more than just a little
TLC.
Before undertaking more serious restoration the value of the doll and the
sentiment attached should be considered carefully. The
Fee Schedule is a guideline to help you make that
decision. Each doll will be evaluated carefully and a quote will be sent to you
before you give final approval to the work proposed. At TLC Doll Hospital we work
only on dolls made of bisque, china, wax, composition and hard plastic dolls
pre-1960.
With very few exceptions for early Barbie® or Madame
Alexander, we do not work on Barbie®, Mattel, American
Girls or currently produced dolls.
